Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Transfer of network components (switches/routers) from current location to new location. (same area, different room)
  • Reconnection of network cables from router/switch to desk ports
  • Relocation/Reconnection and testing of 1 Multi-Function Printer
  • Reconnection and setup of all desktops Testing of Wi-fi and network
  • Ensure desktops are working as expected
  • Report any malfunctioning equipment or IT service to IT Helpdesk

Skills/Experience required:

  • Experience in supporting customers at their office
  • Full understanding of MS OS Range
  • Full understanding of setting up VPN and firewalls
  • Advanced Group Policy and implementation knowledge
  • Good experience with Microsoft Products
  • Fully knowledge base of MS Exchange, AD and DC
  • Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Exchange Online
  • Windows 2012/2016 experience highly desirable
  • Strong skills with Windows 7/10 in a business environment
  • Active Directory
  • Office 2010/2016
  • Solid skill set with desktop PC hardware
  • Full understanding of setting up VPN and firewalls

Experience in a similar role:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
